Margo de Naray is Chief Executive Officer of DEFCON AI. She brings more than 20 years of executive experience across aerospace, technology, and global industrial businesses, with a track record of commercializing complex technologies, scaling operations, and driving growth.

Prior to DEFCON AI, Margo served as President and CEO of Solestial, where she led the space solar technology company through commercialization, manufacturing scale-up, and its acquisition by York Space Systems. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Astra Space’s spacecraft propulsion business, leading its rapid growth and operational scale-up.

Earlier in her career, Margo spent more than a decade at Cargill in general management, commercial, and strategy leadership roles across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. She began her career at Intel in manufacturing engineering and operations.

Margo holds an MBA and MS in Engineering Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BS in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
