Senior Analyst

Dr. Suzanne ‘Zanne’ Cox is a Senior Analysist at DEFCON AI. Prior to joining DEFCON AI, she served as a research scientist and post-doctoral scholar at Duke University, the University of California, and Penn State University. There she studied the biomechanics and motor control of animal movement by combining experimental data collection with musculoskeletal simulations.

Dr. Cox received a B.S in Physics and B.A. in Philosophy from the University of New Hampshire, a BFA in Sculpture from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a Masters in Philosophy from Brown University, followed by a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
