Lead Data Scientist

Dr. Robert "Izzy" Reznik is the Lead Data Scientist for Engineering at DEFCON AI. He joined DEFCON AI from Leidos where he supported Cost Assessment & Program Evaluation in the Office of the Secretary of Defense as project manager and technical lead on Space and Strategic Defense Systems. He has led modeling and analysis efforts on many high-profile programs. While most of these programs were concerned with missile defense and sensors, he has been involved in diverse issues such as communication networks and epidemiology. Technical expertise includes Directed Energy weapons, Kinetic interceptors, radar, infrared sensors, and orbital mechanics. He has applied computational mathematics and physics to a wide range of areas including PhD research on the effects of Electric Fields on networks of neurons.

Dr. Reznik has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master of Science in Physics from Arizona State University and a PhD in Computational and Data Sciences from George Mason University.
