Kelly Rey Wilson is the Lead Program Language Designer at DEFCON AI.

Ms. Wilson has more than 35 years of experience as a software developer. Over the past decade, she has been actively engaged in the mobile, computer, and game console industries. She is an expert with a deep understanding of the Unreal, Godot, and Unity game engines. Her accomplishments include the development of streaming technology for Unity, memory technology for Unreal, security features, game AI, and even multiplayer networking technology. She holds engineering credits for several titles, including Age of Empires, Recore, Scalebound, Hero Central, The Sonic Care App, The Bards Tale, Wizards Chess, Retro RPG Maker, Jacker, Easy Conversations, JigScript, and New and Tasty.

Throughout her career, Ms. Wilson has worked in various roles within the software developer discipline, including positions in QA, Program Management, Architecture, and Software Development. She has led development teams using multiple development styles, such as Agile, Waterfall, and extreme programming. Her preference lies with the Agile development style, as she strives to maintain a clear vision of the product's intended function. She believes that iterative design and prototyping, along with an all-hands usability test, is the most effective approach for producing the optimal product on schedule. Additionally, she has designed and developed 12 computer language compilers, authored a successful game engine known as Visual Game Studio, and delivered 15 games to the market.
