John Williston, PhD

Senior DevOps Engineer

Dr. John Williston is the Lead DevOps Engineer for DEFCON AI. He brings a variety of specialties, with a career that has spanned more than 35 years in Software Development, Project Management, Product Marketing, and Academia. Notably, Williston was a Director of Development for MHX Solutions, where he designed and managed the implementation of cutting-edge logistics systems for the transportation and transloading industry, including full DevSecOps pipeline implementation. Formerly an Assistant Professor at Fresno Pacific University, he also served as the Director of Computer Information Systems and Computer Science and Software Engineering.

Williston holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Ethics from the University of Southern California, an M.A. in Philosophy and Ethics from Talbot Seminary, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
