Jim Torbit

Principal Business Analyst

Jim Torbit is the Principal Business Analyst at DEFCON AI. Prior to joining DEFCON AI, Torbit worked for 19 years at Volition, the video game developer known for creating the Descent, Red Faction, and Saints Row franchises. He held many game development roles including quality assurance, production, studio director, and general manager. His work included line production on Saints Row titles, the studio’s Core Technology Group, and management of the Production Discipline. Torbit also served as the studio's general manager, responsible for all studio operations and development disciplines.

Torbit holds a B.A. in Journalism from Eastern Illinois University. He lives in central Illinois with his wife and two daughters.
