Jamie Morin

Former Director, OSD CAPE; Former Acting Under Secretary of the Air Force

Jamie Morin served as Director of Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation for the Department of Defense from 2014 to 2017, leading the organization responsible for analyzing and evaluating the Department’s plans, programs, and budgets in relation to U.S. defense objectives, threats, costs and resource constraints. Prior to his appointment by the President as CAPE Director, Jamie served for five years as the chief financial officer for the U.S. Air Force, as well as the acting Under Secretary of the Air Force from 2012 to 2013. He currently serves as Vice President of Defense Systems Operations and Executive Director of the Center for Space Policy and Strategy at The Aerospace Corporation and earned degrees from Georgetown, the London School of Economics, and Yale.
