David Ciemnoczolowski, PhD

Senior Analyst

Dr. David Ciemnoczolowski is a Senior Analyst at DEFCON AI. He joined DEFCON AI after serving as Head of Decision Science at Freight Science, developing human-in-the-loop AI solutions for the over the road trucking industry. Dr. Ciemnoczolowski's experience and expertise spans multiple industries, including transportation and logistics, biotechnolgy, agriculture, and procurement optimization. Prior to joining DEFCON AI, Dr. Ciemnoczolowski worked at Monsanto as Operations Research Lead and Union Pacific Railroad.

Dr. Ciemnoczolowski received a Ph.D. and M.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Additionally, he has an MS in Economics and Operations Research where he studied with Gene Woolsey and an BSE in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University.
