VP of Engineering

Aaron Clovsky is the VP of Engineering at DEFCON AI. He joins DEFCON AI after spending five years in Chicago's Fintech industry, working primarily at DASH Financial Technologies (now ION Group) in his position as Lead Market Data Engineer where he designed and built low latency data systems as well as bespoke real-time databases. These products serve the Options industry, including clients such as The New York Stock Exchange and several major banks. Aaron has deep expertise in close-to-the-metal programming as well as computer hardware and architecture. Prior to entering the private sector Aaron served as a Captain in the United States Air Force. His first assignment was in the F-22 System Program Office as a Test Engineer where he directly advised the F-22 Senior Materiel Leader as a Cybersecurity expert. His second assignment brought him to SIMAF (Simulation and Analysis Facility) as Lead Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer where he spearheaded the design effort for the EAAGLES 3.0 simulation framework and developed the methodology for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Risk Based Resource Tiering initiative which prioritized funding allocation within its 48 Billion dollar budget. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
